had to dig this up from the grave. i do beleive with minimal fitment issues, this intake would work. may hve to actually have the filter in the hole where the resonator would be but i think it could work.

what does the expansion chamber do?

and im in but i dont have an engine cover and i dont want one too much of a pain in the ass to take on and off to check things but other pieces ie: trim fenders hood trunk im good for that or any interior pieces

and the gto has roughly 9.5lbs per horse power so theres lots of room for improvment, ouch the aveo has 21.9lbs per horse power thats brutal the aveo would have to make 240hp to have the same power to weight MUST.......NOT .........BUY............A V8

well, my race weight is usually around 3800 lbs. Stock the 05 is around 3725 lbs.

But yeah, if they make some good quality, reasonably priced stuff for the GTO I am sure people will by it.

But why discuss GTO products on an Aveo forum?? Why not join a GTO forum where the products are already known and available. Ever checked RKSport for GTO parts?

Anyways, why does carbon ONLY have to be for weight savings purposes, when in the case of the Aveo, weight savings will do very little to improve speed, efficiency, or hp? Strip these little cars down to nothing and they still have less then 100hp.

So in stead of race machines, have fun and do what makes you happy, who cares of the justifications or reasons? That's my 2¢.

I do not care about the weight advantages of CF...when you are just replacing a hood most of the time the weight difference does nothing really for the car. I personally like the look of CF and want to get a CF wing because i think they look nice.

Same here...I'm addicted to CF... the more the merrier I say, without being stupid stick-on pointless accessorries (see aisle in any nearby Checker, Auto Zone, Pep Boys for example.)

i was actually gonna use that stick on crap for my eyelids. it can be used but it has to be done in good taste. i still have yet to get around to doing that too.
