ive been riding around orlando and tampa now for 6 months without a problem, if the filter becomes fully sub-mergethen you are dont for but its rare, adding a bypass fixes those worries though
i think it would work out to be similar to a stock intake since it's full of ripples
2004 chevy aveo---
2006 chevy uplander
lol ok ill look up bypass.
bypass is like a sponge? or this thing [IMG][/IMG]
On my CAI the filter sits just under that hole in the engine bay, so its pretty high up in the fender, I mean if the water was that high I would not drive trough it anyways, u got to remenber ur tail pipe is lower than the filter and most cars that get killed on high water is due to the tailpipe getting pluged with water and chocking the engine, happen to me before! I dont like that flex pipe, its hard to work with, u better off with the alloy or abs parts from ebay or Autozone, that blue 'thing' is just the rubber coupler, Autozone got those too. If u do the conversion u will notice a difference, plus it will be quieter than the SRAI.
