Cover for auto shift slot next to P ?

Just bought the car and previous owner must of lost it ? No idea what it looks like but must be a tiny piece of plastic.

Don't want to leave it open as we are in the game reserve often on dusty roads.....

Any idea where to buy one or anyone know the part number. Chev has deserted our shores again so no real agents here anymore.

      Much obliged.

      Duncan

The part by itself is not available. GM has a part number for the whole shifter assembly, but that part has since been discontinued. You would probably need to call a few junkyards to see who has the shifter assembly and if they would be willing to sell just the shift lock release cover. You should check out car-part.com
