Timing belt replacement how-to with photos and more....
1974-1999 vw 4 lug wheels are the "most" direct, cobalt 4 lug fit as well from my research.
the centerbore needs honed out on honda, toyota, acura, mini, etc.. but if you are willing to do so, they fit and can be had cheap.
you ALWAYS have to check the rims for caliper clearance issues..
And watch your lug nut style.
Not to hi-jack your thread but I feel your pain. Last Saturday night it was raining very heavy and my wife and I were on our way home from a friends house. We hit the pot hole from hell. We bent 2 rimss on the left side and blew out the left side tires as well. The tires needed replacing anyway and the rims were so bent that they wouldnt hold air. The inner lip had been curled away from each tire. Thankfully we were only 1 mile from home so I told my wife to let me drive and we limped home on 2 flats. Her car needed tires anyway so I didnt care. The next day I took out a mallet and bent the rims back into position. Dropped off the car at the tire place and ordered 8 BFG G-Force 195/60/14 tires. I figured I get my wifes Aveo 5 done, and my Aveo sedan done. Eight tires, two alignments and $1000 later both Aveos had new tires. The rims that were bent in the pot hole after being bent back actually balanced out nicely!
Missing our beloved 1st gen Aveos everyday!
