why are so many VW owners assholes? you've been active in the VW community far longer than i, so im hoping you can shed some light on this.

why are so many people that have non-american cars think they are better than everyone else??????????????
its rather annoying to see people spit on their country ya know. ive had a daewoo, saturn, several fords and a dodge. My mom has a VW bug lol. But i dont understand why people hate american cars or hate them. ****, people with hondas that think they are better than everyone else might as well be nazis lol, not to that extreme of course. Everyone makes fun of everything, but hating something is extreme.
Some people with non american cars think they are better than my f150 (even though i whoop there asses in any race :0) or even the aveo, but why do they have to be rude about it? Why cant we all be friends?

It was a little un-called for, but it wasn't that bad. :lol: Mot people will always think there car is the best kind of car and everything else is junk. I've been a diehard vw guy for a while, and I personally do love vw's more than my aveo. :oops: ....BUT, I love the aveo as well and want to mod it to my own personality while I'm driving it. It's a fun little car, I just wish we got a little more recognition from the aftermarket companyies...who knows, with all these people buying new aveos w/ cash for clunkers deal maybe we'll start seeing new parts? One can only hope.
VW vortex is all about post count, and being vortex "approved" which basically means dropped on cheap coil overs, with multipiece bbs wheels(or rare era correct wheels, and a nice selection of options or rare euro parts.
you basically have to prove yourself, and put up with the bs for a while. sorry. I have been on vortex since 1999 under different names.
I also am friends with SteveO he lives about 20 minutes from me, so if you want wheels has has a set for sale cheap. I can pick them up for the local price and send them to you for cost.
they will need sprays though, a little surface rusty.
thats cool. dont worry about the wheels, i need a car first. i'v been looking at a few, almost had a corrado with a super charger that still worked for really cheap. when i need the wheels, i'll probably just make the drive out to pittsburgh, i got a buddy who moved out there and i havent hung out with him in awhileQuote:
