      DRL Module

Does anyone know where I can get a cheap DRL (daytime running light) module? Mine was intermittent so I disconnected it. I called GM and they want $119 for it and then I called the junkyard, they have one but want $75 for it. This thing looks like it's worth about $19.99.

I'll probably keep checking the junkyard for a deal unless I can find someone that will sell me one for a reasonable price.

Who knows. Pending on the year or version, you might find someone one the forum willing to sell you one. I just need to figure out how to disconnect them.

I don't really care to have them on that much but I like to fix what's broken. What year is your car? My 04 drl module was right above the gas pedal on the right side of my knee.

Hope this might help you. I heard later years have a fuse in the fuse box.

Thanks for the reply... I'll keep an eye out on Ebay. I thought the junkyard would let it go for a lot cheaper but they call the dealership, get a price and then decide what to charge you.

It's pretty easy, you don't even have to take the "knee knocker" panel off to just disconnect the connector to the DRL module... Doesn't affect any other systems, just that.

You're not that far, I can just stop by and help you disconnect it when I'll be down that way.
