i am happy with it. even though i have a 1.6 liter, the car has just enough power to be fun.. it seems to be pretty well put together, the quality of the interior is decent (compared to a base line cobalt) its a room little hatchback. I am happy with mine so far.

what else are you thinking of getting? just so we can offer opinions on differences, and such.

i have an 04 sedan that now has 91000 miles on it. i have owned it since new. all i can say is that i never have haad to do anything with the car except oil changes, tires and brakes. my first brake change was at 79000 miles, and the new tires were done at 40000 miles. i have the 1.6L motor also and its been and continues to be a great little car. as a matter of fact i'm picking up another one for my wife to drive. she loves our little car also and wanted one of her own, so we found a used 05 with 34000 mles on it for $5000.00. we are picking it up in monday.

      Thanks for your replays,

I was thinking getting the Aveo or the new Hyundai I20, but the Hyunday is 3000€ more than the Aveo...

I like a lot of the aveo, even whith a engine less powerful, is fun to drive(i did a test drive).
today i´m going to the dealership buy one brand new.
when i receive the Aveo i´ll post here my car.

Very good choice! I am very happy with my Aveo5, it has been a great car and is built like a rock. I always get better mileage than advertised, usually around 37mpg! No mechanical problems or electrical issues yet. The Aveo is a very under-rated car.

      Hi Sergio,

We are a 2 Aveo ('05 & '06) family and we are pretty happy with them. I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum and others to try to ward off potential problems (already had a new metal thermostat housing installed and I'm already lining up a timing belt change at 50k miles).

Good luck with your new car.

Hello Sergio! I had a hatchback for about 7 months and she was great. Didn't do anything except for adding windshild washing liquid and inflating tires of course.
