Fuel pump swap

Oh man, itÂ’s been awhile since IÂ’ve been to the forum. IÂ’ve been busy building my Cobalt SS LSJ. So back to the topic. IÂ’ve been having issues with running rich and lean with my 07 Aveo5. I went ahead and double checked my ignition system, then MAF and finally the O2 sensors. I did a couple maintenance repairs and at first she ran like normal. Then she started to surge again, scanned and came up with a rich code and a lean code. So last thing I could think of was a weak fuel pump. I swapped the fuel pump (not the canister) once before, she has some miles as IÂ’m at 265,300. I have swapped the LSJ over to E85 and installed the AEM E85 high flow f/p which left me with the stock LSJ f/p. I disassembled the canister dropped in the LSJ f/p with little modification. She started up and idle seems normal, I have to take her for a test run and see how she does under load. I really do think that a LSJ swapped Aveo can take a AEM high flow f/p with little modification. Has anyone swapped fuel pumps in their Aveo?
