Gear stick too hard and reverse issues

Hi guys. I have a manual transmission 2011 Aveo. I have this problem, that the gear stick is too hard and often when going into reverse I'll hear a really ugly grinding noise coming from the gears.

What do you think can be the issue?

If the clutch isn’t fully disengaging, gears will be hard to select. Especially reverse.

if the clutch hydraulic fluid looks old, bleed it out. If no improvement, I would look at the clutch master as the culprit.

Are you talking about the brake fluid? Or the transmission fluid?

I actually purchased brake fluid today and I plan to bleed it tomorrow. Brake fluid looks very dark and probably full of air bubbles. I don't think it was ever changed (my Aveo has 60.000 miles).

Hopefully that's the issue here.
