Any of our European members see this blurb in the latest issue of Auto Motor & Sport magazine? Renowned designer Giorgetto Giugiaro bashed the latest facelift GM performed on the North American Chevrolet Aveo and Korean Daewoo Gentra X.

It's defeinetly not what he would have chose. You can tell it's north american designed.

whether he likes it or not, i wouldn't have bought the Aveo if it wasn't for the redesign. I'm just happy i got in one before the year's price hike.
i do have to say that giugiaro did get it right the first time with the kalos

I understand Ford is also giving Giugiaro and Italdesign final say on the new '09 Mustang, which will be based on his concept below.

as much as i like the new redesign of the aveo, i guess i'm still partial to the first generation bodystyle cause i love my little car!!
Same here!!! I cant stand the new design. :cry: It's like a cross between an Aveo and an Uplander. Too yawning and ugly...
