i wish i had waited before buying my aveo i would have definately picked this one up its beautiful
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
why is the city mpg so low i get like 29mpg city when im constantly on it...too bad the extra standard features have moved the price up a bit.
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
Aww man! I hope the rims are only for there for show... They look almost exactly like the ones I just bought. I wonder what the specs are. I got 17s on mine... Oh well, I can say they saw my car and copied it....haha...
Any mention of a SS model? I thought I heard something about that. Just a rumor?

Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
Personally I like the original small grill better than the yawning cavern they put on this one. It looks kinda like an uplander minivan with a spoiler and rims
Will they still have the A/C-less SV model?
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
****s ugly, the front grill is horrible, its too big for the car, looks like the front end of the malibu
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
same car new shell
this just means all the body kits/exterior mods we are -were- looking foward to will go to this beauty.
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
the front end looks like they just copy and pasted parts from audis and the new matrix
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
i'm not too picky as to where the styling cues came from. having my 04 sedan which i really love, and then seeing this, i wouldnt mind owning the 09.
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
I wish I had waited to buy the 09. A huge engine upgrade from the E-TEC II to the Ecotec both in reliability and fuel efficiency.
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
personally, the only reason I bought this car is because it was the only new car under 10K. Now that the base price has risen, I will be looking at a comparable honda, toyota, or hyundai.
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
i love my aveo and eventhough its half daewoo, it still love my chevrolets.

im sure you will still be able to get it for cheaper than the honda fit and toyota yaris....the aveo will now be even more comparable with both those since it finally got an updated engine...the interior is definitely better that what it started with in 04 and i wish i could swap it in....honestly my 04 has been very reliable, the only thing that scares me is the fragile timing belt, whcih hopefully they fixed in the newer engine.
Re: GM announces pricing for 2009 Chevrolet Aveo lineup
I just bought an 08 Aveo5 and am happy with it even though there are some new changes on the 09. Also, they sent me a maintenance warning that at 60,000 miles the timining belt must be changed or the warranties are void.
