I got smacked by a deer on the highway, didn't even know what. Insurance said there was too much damage and the car wasn't worth the amount in repairs. I lucked out on a 2005 volvo s80. I've learned so much from this site, being the aveo as my first car. I will miss this site and wish everyone the best of luck with one of the most under rated cars chevy has ever made. Semper fi

wow! got hit by a deer? I used to live in Maine,
i saw deers come out from the woods when i drive, but i've never been hit by one

I put on 65000 km last year and had a deer jump over my aveo and take out the am/fm antenna as I was headeing through jasper national park.
