Great photochop: blue 2012 Aveo 5-door turned into red 3-door... Mitsubishi

Stumbled on this on Flickr while looking for pics of the next gen Aveo posted from the Paris show...

I guess that's what GM gets for making the next gen front end look like the current Lancer / Evo! :D (According to lots of comments floating around out there).

the dodge colt (what it seems he made, sort of mitsubishi?) is a sore subject with me, they were supposed to be rebadged vw lupos in exchange for the vw routan, but chrysler abandoned their side of the deal.

but that car is interesting to say the least. i'm sure europe will get a 3 door while america once again gets the shaft.

Every once in a while I read an article about VW bringing it over, but ... nada.

the current "rumor" is that vw is redesigning a polo/lupo(they havent made the definite american name) platform car with a high roof line like the aveo and fit because americans must like to sit with their legs bent.. :roll: that comes from vwoa rep that was driving a lupo in pittsburgh. And if it comes, it will be built here, somewhere.

but his 2009 lupo was totally bad ass.

Actually Mitshubishi still makes Colts across the seas, so that could just be photo of a Mitsu Colt
