Hey gang. I was just curious. On my 02 Aveo LS when I had it the headlights were so glazed over they looked like a soft white light bulb in a household lamp when on. I used rubbing compound carefully and have the lenses right back to looking almost new. They still are surprisingly terrible when driving. To me it looks as though the projection pattern to the road isn't right and I'm blinding everyone driving behind them. I know on the old cars you could adjust the projection. These being one solid lense is there any adjustment around the mounting bolts?

I did my own research. The only thing you can do is use washers or some type of shims under the mounting bolts to orient the headlight assembly to focus the light correctly. Not like the old days when the lenses were designed to be adjusted to focus the light beam correctly.

Been fighting the headlights for a few months there are two adjustments on the top and behind the assembly one has a white cover you pry off then it's a 12mm or a phillips on the left side it's very tight due to the airbox.

An 02 Aveo?? I thought the first year of manufacture was 2004. Am I misinformed?
