      Hello from Panama

      Hello all.
Just thought I would throw out a quick intro.
We are picking up a 2008 LS hopefully in a few weeks. All the paperwork was submitted today. But here in Panama it takes for FOREVER. Not like back in the states where I could leave with a car the same day. So it is sitting on the showroom floor
As for the car. We bought it on a whim. It was decent size, looks Ok & it was a killer price. It is a bit different from what is in the states. It has the power package, with what appears to be the 14" 2004-2005 wheels(which I was able to find on page 3 of a google image search), wood grain, Spicy Orange paint, & nice beige cloth interior. Also it has NO Tire inflation monitor.
Plans for the car are simple, as it is a daily family car. 20% tint, Helo glide 888 wheels(or something VERY similar), 10" MTX sub, dynamat( I HATE road noise & here it is plentiful), laptop, flip-up screen in the dash, courtesy door lights, a few other odds & ends.
Putting to much into a daily driver here is a complete waste. So I am keeping this one simple. I even promised my wife
Anyway. Here are a few pics of the car. Sorry for teh poor quality they were taken with my cell phone.
Hopefully I can pick it up the first week of Feb.
      Talk to ya all soon.

      China auto?

How many are there here? ALOT..very cheap, parts are plentiful & they are very cheap on fuel.
Yeah the price is $10,999. That is the main reason we are getting it. Damn inexpensive. Reason being is that they got the shipment in very late & they have an assload to get rid of.

      Re: Hello from Panama

IBTM is sales tax. Here it is 5%
      So $10,999 + 5% = purchase price.
      Interest here is high 8%

I guess that's high, I had absoloutely no credit whatsoever when I bought my 09' so my interest is way up at 15%. It's terrible, but I'm just making 400$ payments on it to cut my interest down and after 2 years I'll pay the rest off.
