Hey there!

Well, first off, HI! I'm new to the board, and today I had a very Aveo car-tastic day so I decided to post here and take pictures of what I did today.

(I took the DRL off first off!)
Removed the chevy front bowtie and painted the grill and outer piece black.
Removed the AVEO LS badge (still need to get some tar remover)
Painted the back bowtie Black.

So, de-chromed the car. Excellent. Did you paint or tint the bow-tie?

a thinner will help get the sticky off the left side rear. that body part is steel so it is relatively easy. if you decided to take off the bow-tie be careful as the body part is plastic and the bow-tie has a small post.

i like it, now get that glue off and take some more pics when hes clean lol

I painted the bow tie.. :) I actually had removed it, and was going to leave it off, but the two holes on the back were driving me crazy, so I just decided to paint it black and put it back on.

I will get some pictures once it's completely clean.

I'd like to tint the side markers but I'm not quite sure how to do that..

I like the painted emblem. Good idea!
