Yeah I bought a new one at autozone, it was the two piece metal design....some king of aluminum/copper/something else metal, not steel. Cost me I think about $60 total to fix...glad the wife knows to pull over when the temp gauge rises
sounds like yours blew up. mine was just leaking bad.
