Highest Mileage Aveo (how many miles / km on yours now?)

My wife's "little boy" should turn over 200,000 miles this week. She drive approx. 150 miles a day to and from work. Always used Castrol Full Synthetic since the 1st. oil change w/ a Pure One filter. Once in a while I'll throw in a bottle of Slick 50 or similar. Still on the original clutch. IDK how long a clutch normally lasts in these cars.

a clutch can last as long as the car, as long as you know how to drive it.

I just hit 271,000 today. Original clutch, engine and entire rear including brakes. Timing belts MUST be changed according to manufacturer spec. Religiously. Alignment is a constant headache. They never last more than 7-8,000 miles. I bought this car new from dealer inventory in June of 05. My wife has hers from May of 06. Hers has 180k. Each has encountered the same problems, though hers being newer has had them first! That car had to have been built on a Monday...

I'm approaching 395,000 km! My gf bought the car at around 370,000 in the summer. I drive a lot for work so I add on between 600 - 800 Km per week. Not sure if the engine is original...

That's right about the highest I've ever taken a car - about 8 years ago I sold an '89 Accord with that much on it, and the next owner went to about 450k before rust took it out. Original engine.

That's miles, not kilometers. 271,000 miles. It was $10,000 new in 2005. Best deal I ever made.

MetroMPG - We got it for $900 at a Hyundai Dealership. Someone traded it in to buy a new car. We spent about $1000 on it to fix it up to be road ready. The repairs were actually only $200 - $300 though. But we were kinda nooby so didn't know any better. We did a timing belt and water pump change the other day so I think we'll get a good bit more out of the engine. (fingers crossed).

We have 116,000 w ich isn't much at all. But I started a new job ill be driving a total of 94 miles a day for 3 days plus where ever else we go!
