I now have 130k miles. I changed tires, front breaks, spark plugs once (lol), rear shocks, timing belt, got an exhaust pipe cut and welded back.
It's still running pretty well, I have minor issues though.

150k miles on my 07 Aveo5. I am going to drive it till it blows up. DRL module has failed, Airbag Module has failed but I wear the seat belt and keep driving on.
My 2007 Aveo has 215,000 miles on it. Timing belt has been changed once.
Talk about borrowed time
I just got an email from a site visitor (not a member)...
... and replied with a link to read through this thread.I have a 2008 Aveo LS Chevrolet and I would like to know how many miles I can expect in its life time. I am thinking about trading it in and it has 88,000 miles on it. Thank you, Sally
My 07 hatch has 130k, minor issues, airbag light on all the time now, timing belt replaced at 60k getting ready to do it again, vacuum lines are crap, have to keep replacing elbows.
I'd thought I was putting miles on my car, but these numbers stun me. But they're also encouraging! My 07 (purchased early 08 and driven little first year) has 71k miles and has been back to a dealer precisely once - for the timing belt replacement at 50k. Main problem: the bottom foam in the two front seats has basically failed. If I propose to take more than a 1-hour trip, I'd better dig out the super-dense foam cushions I made for these seats.
I use ordinary oil, but Mobil 1 filters. The single feature which bugs me the most is the driver door lock. If it's engaged, I've got to reach around and pull up the knob to exit. NOT a good feature if the car was in an accident and caught fire. So I drive with it unlocked except in bad neighborhoods.
