I'm right at 130k right now, but I don't drive very far anymore now that I'm done with college. I switched to Valvoline Max-Life Semi-Synthetic 10w-30, and run it year around. I also run the Fram High mileage filter, I've got the "number" for it recorded in my spreadsheet maintenance log. The oil is always as clean as the day I put it in after a change at about 4.5k. My car seems to love the switch, it runs smoother and sounds "meatier". I went to buy the Max-Life once in the summer and they were out of 5w-30 and I figured 10w-30 one time wouldn't hurt it. It ran totally fine from the start, no issues prior that would warrant a switch. The sound and feel improvement was astounding, so I've stuck with it ever since. That was about a year ago, and three oil & filter changes. No issues to date.
I agree with AveoZ on the door locks, I never lock the doors when I'm in the car. Thankfully this is a small town and I don't really have to worry about being mugged. I DESPISE the vehicles that autolock when putting them into gear, or after you start moving. I am SO thankful that Chewy does not do that, I would've tried to have it disabled if it did. I do like the child locks for the back. I keep them disabled though since I don't have any kids nor haul any around.
It would make me nuts if I didn't have keyless entry, you can only lock it from the outside driver door with the key if you don't. I wish it was where you could hit lock and it would chime and wait for you to close all doors. After about 5 seconds the doors will lock, that gives you an "OH SH*T!" window, to not lock your keys in the car or forget something. Plus time to open another door before it locks, and then it'll wait for you to close the other door. My Mammaw's 02 Malibu is that way since it's an LS and doesn't have keyless entry.
Just my two cents.
Oh! And welcome to the forum AveoZ!
