Highest Mileage Aveo (how many miles / km on yours now?)

Yeah they absolutely maintained the craps out of it! That's the only reason I'd buy something with such high mileage... Of course it needed some other work when I got her, but motor and trans run GREAT! I'm gonna keep takin care of her and see how far she goes!

Wow, and 291K miles on a timing belt must be up there in the record books as well. Life on the edge! No reason you won't see 491K miles either, but might wanna change that timing belt before then

I have 142,000 miles on my 2007.
I was worried cuz the oil light came on this past weekend.
Mechanic fixed it today - just a faulty oil sending unit switch !
Now I may hit 200,000!👌

I also have the Trailing Arm bushing problem -
replacing that next week thanks to the guys on this forum!!

New to the forum! My Aveo is a 2006 and I have 126K miles on mine. Changed the timing belt @ 101k miles. I've also had to replaced the right outer tie rod end, & thermostat housing. I'm a MOPAR guy but I really like my little Aveo. My mom bought car new in 2005. She passed away in 2013 and I inherited the Aveo. Good car!

Ok guys.... Bad news... 294,000 miles+/- and I shredded the timing belt �� I was heading down the highway and heard something slapping around under the hood. I took the first exit I saw, ran the red, got into the nearest parking spot and shut her down... I had power the whole time, I think it was coming apart slowly and didn't straight up break, so I'm hoping I didn't bend any valves etc.... It's getting fixed tomorrow then back on the road to keep my number one spot on this thread! ��
