How do i disable the annoying 'key in ignition' chime?

I've managed to disable its annoying cousin, the seatbelt chime...

A bit O'advice, constantly asking the question on a bunch of threads is bad form! Ask the question once with your year and version of Aveo and maybe somebody will answer.

You should succeed by unplugging the door sensor, else AST Towing of Albany NY can help

Thanks, but then I presume you get the red door ajar light on the dashboard ?
