i am pretty sure ny was in the 90's.. but i do recall someone at like 105k.. not sure who.
Pah. The timing belt at my Ford Focus is at 136k miles right now.
That's a focus though... they are not known for breaking the timing belt at 60k. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, but in a focus a broken timing belt doesn't do nearly as much damage as if a belt breaks in an Aveo.

LOL... you know what I mean. Added a "belt" in that sentence up there. But you know what I mean. Even older Geo Metro's didn't get as damaged at all. When a belt broke in my 89 1.0L 3cyl Metro, all I had to do was change a belt and it was as good as new.

I'm new to this board but I just wanted to say that my 2004 aveo has 168,000 miles so I think yours has plenty of life left.
