Can't believe y'all have not learned that we never state this information and we never add the stuff up. Wives get pissy and girls get jealous.

hahahaha not jealous just mad the fact you spend all that time and money in the car when you should spend all the time and money with us.....but ive always been a car girl and like to spend all my time around cars than doing anything else. i grew up that way. so its no issue to me. if my hubby spends just as much on my own car....we can be civil.

Sometimes it's good to do for ourselves though. Puts things into a perspective. And as far as my wife, she usually doesn't go on forums.

When I bought my Aveo, it started at around $15,000 for it being a 1LT, then bumped up nearly $300 for the "factory-installed" graphics, and some more money for the extended warrenty to make it total out to around $17,000. The only thing that I have bought were a set of 5 mats for $120 (which were cheaper than GM's set of 4 of $120). I also ordered a set of splash gaurds, but I ordered for the sedan set instead of the hatchback set, so that order was returned.

      Ok let's see

      2008 Aveo5 SV 6500 + old car trade in valued at 300 so $6,800
Engine Ground kit - Had laying around so free
      Removed fender resonator- Free
      195/60/14 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires - $500
      Third Light Overlay - $10
Detailed the car - $140 (never do that at Simoniz in Dubuque, IA again, a lot of minor damage done to my vehicle.)
Oil & filter Changes, Rotations & Balance, And Gas I don't really keep track of. I know I changed a headlight bulb that was like $10 but again that's not something I worry about.

So the total so far is roughly. . . $7,450 This is an estimate Give or Take $100

Future plans are 2.0L engine, Suspension upgrades And Rims. I Also want to do a full LED conversion and lose the badges. Debating Projector Headlight's with HID kit, If I do it I will re-route driving lights, to a decent set of Fog/Driving Lights.

      2008 Aveo5 SV

I will think of a better signature later.
