How much did you pay for your USED Aveo?

2007, black auto. 1.4 61,000 miles. Rust on roof, bad paint, One window not working. Boot not opening.

Out of curiosity, where was your Aveo made (check the VIN code)? The 1.4 engine is a sign that it's very different from most other Aveos.

Well, that's a great deal if you can replace the transmission yourself. (Or fix it... isn't the 5th gearset under a stamped steel cover on the outside of the case?)

not sure im not a mechanic i was just going buy a gearbox and try and fit it

i was going to get it through a mot and if the car didn't need to much money to pass it ,i would then fit it with gearbox

I bought it from my sister's estate and it is in pretty good shape. Door lock fell in, gas lick is broken and I changed now door is stuck. Replaced the air hose, valve cover gasket, front brakes and totirz, o2 sensors. Still needs tires exhaust and timing belt changed. Overall it is a great little car and my son gets his permit in 2 years and this car is for him. He's learning how to work on cars and I'm getting free labor.
