installing a Sunroof.

Hello all, been a while since I've posted here.

My aveo is a high mileage runner now.. I'm at 150,000 still on it's second timing belt at about 70k now. I know I'm on borrowed time but thats a whole nuther thread.

I'm writing to see of anyone has installed any kind of aftermarket sunroof? Any write ups or pics of the roof w/o a headliner would be great. I plan on using an old pop up style basic universal sunroof I have in the garage. Some pics to come.

Aftermarket holes in the roof make me a little nervous. You may want to pull your headliner down and see what kind of support you may have to deal with.

I'm not worried about that. These cars were made to get a sunroof installed quickly on an assembly line. most cars have a space allotted for one without any major supports through it.
