Talking Interor Airconditioning Fan - Useless

      Hi everyone

I really hope I can get an answer here to something which has annoyed me for years on my Chevy Aveo LT 1.5 2004.
The interior fan is pathetic, on full (speed 4) the air flow through the ducts is not even enough to flutter a piece of paper directly infront of the duct.
On a hot day its so bad its not worth even running the aircon, it just never cools the car as there just is not enough air flow.
Now I have taken it to the dealerships and they said that I should remove the pollen filter.
Now if I have a look, I can see where it sucks air from outside as it has a grid over the duct but there is no filter, and if I look up under the dash on the passenger side I can see the internal recirculation flap which operates perfectly if I press the button but it doesnt change anything on the air flow.
Now I have felt around for a pipe that may be off and the air excaping but there is nothing.
The vent selection works perfectly if I turn the selector in any direction.
The motor and fan which I removed and put back in works perfectly, it spins like mad and you can hear it making a hell of a noise if it is on speed 4 in its housing, but it doesnt appear to move much air being out its housing.
Does anyone have some advice on where to look next as I am lost.......

      Many thanks

      Cool pollen filter replacement

your pollen filter should be checked every 3 months or when your cabin airflow id reduced. it is originally white in color but changed to grey and black when dirty and clogged. first you need to remove the lower glove compartment to gain access. then remove the 2wo screws holding down the horizontal bar you will see. then locate the filter door which is approx. 2cm across and about 12cm from top to bottom. unclip the door gently and pull towards you.
reach inot the recess with a small flat blade screwdriver if necessary and remove the old filter.
if you still cant manage this. i can sent diagrams.

just to let you know. i do i make my own air filters from a new nissan sentra air filter . gives me 8 filters for the cost of one
