Looking for 2006 Aveo Cruise Control Switch part number

I ran across some info in one of the posts stating that all you need to do to install cruise on an 06 Aveo is order a switch and hook it up. But I was unable to find any info regarding the part number I'd need to order. So my first question is what is the part number? And my second one......is it really that easy? Thanks in advance for any information any of you can offer me.

Whoever told you that is lying to you. It is only that easy on the 09-11. Your best bet it'll to get a kit off of ebay

IF it his the hook up locations are down on the firewall, instead of in the column like the guys with the 09+..

that does mean you have to dicover your own location for the switch, otherwise you need a clockspring/steeringwheel mods, etc.

Wasn't Drive By Wire/Electronic Throttle INTRODUCED on the '06 Aveos? I'd Give you the part number, if there wasn't 1,983 miles (3,191 KM for you Canadians) between me, my Precious Scootaloo, and my Motor Crash Estimating Data book.

Oh, I just figured out what the dbw means.....drive by wire. I was under the impression that all 2006 Aveos were drive by wire but maybe that is not the case. I'll take a close look at it tomorrow to see if I can spot a throttle cable anywhere. If there is no throttle cable, do I just go to a GM dealership and order a cruise control switch for a 2006 Aveo? Anything else I might require to complete the install? I am fairly mechanically inclined, but electrical stuff is not my forte.
