      Yes, I experienced them burning out a lot. Yes, DRLs were on. I'd like to do HiD bulbs, I'm sure it can't be that difficult, I haven't ever done anything electrical before. Just gotta figure out quality bulbs/ballasts that fit my car. I'd like headlights to match dog lights which I will get hopefully soon. Match as far as color log/intensity

      The best thing is to get proper projectors retrofitted into your headlight housings as far as the best light output and lack of annoying glare to the oncoming drivers.

      Now that that's out of the way, the HIDs can burn out a lot too if you don't ground them right. Best thing for them (even the PnP kit) is to run a wiring harness, that way the power to the actual ballast is uninterrupted and constant directly from the battery, and your original harness is only used to trigger the relay in your harness. Plus, if you're going with bi-xenon (to keep your high beam capability) they're going to ship you a harness anyways.

      And regardless whether you go HID or another set of SilverStarts, rabbit is right, just disable the DRL.
