need your help finding a spoiler for my hatch

hi, i just got my 09 aveo hatch! and i love it,,, except mine doesnt have a hatch spoiler, i need one so badly

where can i buy them (i wont buy dealer oem $500) there are 2 styles, one is a smaller one and one kind is largerone, here are 2 pics of the larger ones,,, i like these on these pics, NOT that smaller ones found on ebay,
can anyone help me please?

the oem large one is part # 96 896 145 .

it is $154 dollars from gmpartsdirect, + shipping + paint/install.


I got the same one on ebay used for $20.

Would sell you mine if you have a yellow aveo :D

and for ebay, what key word i shall use to search for that , all i can find if the smaller ones,

Do you guys use these to keep the snow off the rear window?

i dont know if it keeps snow off the window or not..

they are almost never listed on ebay. that part # is stamped/molded into the part i have. that price is from gmpartsdirect.com.

order from gmpartsdirect , is it reliable?

i went to the local gm dealer, they want $300 for it,
went to junk yard, they dont have or they have to sell with the hatch $600

I have ordered from them, it went well, they verified everything, and were also a great deal of help getting me parts for the AC conversion. Not sure about the cost of shipping things to canada, but their website is fairly accurate with shipping (most of the time, if its wrong, let them know they will fix it).

I priced a hatch with the spoiler on it for $300 on the weekend. Not the same spoiler though.

OEM honda wheels will not fit unless you open up the center bore.

I have about $400 into parts for the AC.

That is the part number on the large wing. IT was taken off the large wing.

on the gmpartsdirect it saids its $800 kit, you have an account ?

and what kind of oem, which makes, the oem wheel will be direct fit?

vw, saturn, bmw, most aftermarket will fit, as long as they are 4x100. then need to have at least a 56.6mm centerbore. Honday and miata (i believe) have a 56.1mm center bore. opening it up .5 mm is not hard.. can be done by hand with 80 grit auto sanding paper.

I bought my parts used/new based on what i could find at the time. The main line from the firewall (came with switch since used), the compressor, and interior switch i bought off ebay and junk yards, the two compressor lines (09+) i bought new. Everything else was in the car.

i emailed them , they reply me tell me that they need the VIN number, not just the part #, thats strange...

and they will not ship to canada..... =(

i went to ebay, i searched for swift spoiler all they come up jdm swift, will they fit my car ? proby not,,,,

the vin number is the way all gm computers are set up for parts.

i usually just go out to the new car lot and take the vin off a car that has the part i want.

If a $600 hatch is the right color, offer them the trade of your non spoiler hatch in exchange?

junk yards are more business like now that they used to be, things used to be laid back and negotiable, as long as they made money.

i can only use sand paper to sand the center bore,,,
is it possible and do-able? all i am able to do is sand paper, if i take to a shop they will prob like dealership,,,, its not fit, then its not fit,,, you need to pay $1000 to get it work.
80 grit sand paper, will it damage the wheel balance?

honda wheels do not fit unless you open up the center bore, but if you use a red or green oxide paper (they will sand into the aluminum) then sit there and sand, test fit, sand a little more, test fit, you can open them up till the slip on easily, and still keep the bore tight enough to not have mounting issues.

I did this same thing with my spacers for the aveo, my spacers for my van, both of which needed less then 1mm removed. I think it took me about 10-15 minutes per spacer, so a wheel could be about the same, harder to sand but softer metal.

why do you want honda wheels on your aveo so badly?

get vw wheels instead, they bolt on.

can someone tell me accurate, will this gauge cluster fit my 2009 aveo hatch ? that is a 2008 4 door , automatic ( i dont mind to have the PRND2L doing nothing in there.

except for 5 star golf,,, what else,,, cant think of any...
