i'm gonna see if i have it. i'm going out of town this weekend anyways.
Shifting is quite rough when the car is colder but after it has warmed up, it seems fine but not the smoothest out there.
The howl is quite cad actually... mostly when it's windy outside and cross winds.

DON'T GO SLAMMING ANY GEARS! That's the first thing everybody wants to do, and it's the worst thing you CAN do. Take it easy when you shift. As the tranny fluid warms up, sync will get better. Ever try to shift a tranny in winter that's half full of LUCAS OIL? Doesn't work, because the fluid is too stiff from being cold, and that fluid has to be warm in order to thin out, and allow parts to slide freely. Learn to Double clutch.
see, its the same weather its cold, or warm... Doesnt matter how long i drive, it has issues shifting into 2nd....
i have to make sure i QUICK shift(not hard) to get it into 2nd... if i hesitate just a little, i have to get it into another gear or double clutch to get it into 2nd....
I want to agree with the person who said the syncro's need a good workout...
Take it in. I wonder why people always complain on forums when the car is still on warranty.
Go to the dealer, they'll check it out AND give you a better diagnostic than anyone on here can guess.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
all i was trying to find out, is if it was normal, or if my car was jacked up...
My first post,I to have had the howl. I took it in they got it down some .The other problem was oil leak , the oil pump had a bad casting and had to be replaced.
