New Aveo owner, got some questions

hey folks, im new to the forum, and a nice clean 07 4dr aveo owner, im no stranger to working on cars, but i usually stick to my dodge background, but im trying to figure out if there is anything i need to watch out for on installing a custom CD player, my car has the cd/mp3 player in it with factory tweeters, dunno how common that is on these cars, also im very big at making custom lights for cars, so this will be for the wiring experts on this forum for sure, are there any ways around the DRLs other than lifting the Parking brake one click, i do complete one off projector retrofits with HIDs in headlight housings and am looking to do the same in this car very soon...

      thanks folks

those answers are here, do some reading in depth.. drl is eliminted by unplugging the drl module. and you will need a daewoo harness for the radio, not chevy..

ive done some searching on here, i didnt find exactly what i needed which is why i asked, i found some info on changing the radio but all i seemed to find was for the other older body style aveo, and also what i found on the DRL module, it seemed to not be the same on my car, i found the one where it said it was above the gas pedal but mine doesnt have that module there, and when i looked all over i didnt see anything that i could identify as a DRL box

you have a sedan? refaced? check the fuse box on the side of the dash for the DRL fuse and pull it, if its not there and you have the old wiring in the new dash, its probably just been repositioned. the 07 is sort of an odd year..

sedan yes, refaced? not sure what you mean, but i dont have any fuses labled DRL under the hood or on the side of the dash, i looked all underneath the dash looking for something similar to the pic i found of the one with it above the gas pedal, but i cant find any box that was similar

refaced means you have the newer style front end, and new style dash which you answered. but the issue is the 07 have the new look, but the old wiring.. so its been relocated to accommodate the style change before everything else was updated..

i looked all around under there, ill pull the kickpanel and see if its under that, also ill check under some of the trim pieces that run under the dash along the console, but on the radio subject, whats the best way to pull the trim around the radio to get the oem radio out, i saw on the older models you just pry up, is that the same with the new dash?
