Yeah, I did the same thing. I have a Toyota Tundra that only gets 16mpg, the new Aveo get a consistant 31MPG, and since I drive like 35-40K a year, the Aveo is paying for itself! Like Sam said, 5yr, 100K warranty, brand new and under 10K, how can you go wrong. I originally bought this car for a gas saving economical commuter, but I have found it really fun to drive. If you have the SVM, I highly reccommend the cruise control mod found on this site, that was probably the best one I did.

cheap plug is cool, 800 miles, city lights (sweet mod, under 45 min), dumped resonator assembly, tinted windows, cd player, 2 10" bazooka tubes sitten in my garage are lookin homeless..... God my wife hates this place...lol
