New-ish to Aveo and this forum

Hey all,
Just wanted to say that this forum has been pretty informative to me in looking for information on my 07 Aveo sedan. I would have never guessed that the Aveo was rebadged as so many different vehicles around the world.

The only problem I have and would like some help with is this:
Is it at all possible to find the headlights and taillights from a Kalos (2nd gen sedan) that I could get to replace the ones in my car?

I like the full red taillights and the headlights without the amber stripe in them, and I haven't been able to find them anywhere.. any suggestions?

Keeping in mind that not 'just' the headlights change between the Kalos and the Aveo -- and assuming we're talking about two models of the first styling generation, the appropriate sets of fenders, headlights, etc sometimes pop up on ebay.

Daewoo is now GMDAT, and it only makes sense for GM to look at the cards they are holding and play them as well as they possibly can -- hence the proliferation of Kalos derivatives worldwide.

Actually, what I should have said would be the Daewoo Gentra now I guess, or the Chinese market Lova, or the Pontiac Wave.. either way, same tails and headlights that look MUCH MUCH better than the US ones do, if you ask me. Haha.

I imagine you could take the lights apart and just take the orange piece out. i honestly didnt even know what you were talking about because i didnt notice the difference at first glance.

Yes, AVEOSAM thats exactly what I was talking about.. any idea where I could pick up a pair of the tails? Im sure I could modify the headlights myself if I needed to.
