Maybe you need to understand how does the engine work.
1) air is sucked and mixed with fuel.
2) That air is carefully measured before mixed with fuel.
Any leaks in the air intake after the mass air sensor will cause that balance to out of whack by going too lean. So you need to check all of them.
Anything that looks like a tube into the intake header is suspect.

Here is what I have replaced so far in picture form.
So you need to check all the hoses going into your intake just as I wrote above. Also you should check the ground going to the coil or on the frame of the car.

Yesterday I drove to another city, where my car usually starts pitching a fit, and it drove smooth and not a single misfire. I guess my car just has good days and bad days. So far so good but I need to get it up on a lift and check the ground from the coil pack as asked, other than that everything else checks out.
how was the weather?
