I'm in that category. I once had a manual, and I do know how to drive one properly - but I couldn't get more than 40K out of a clutch due to the inevitable constant shifting in heavy city traffic. So now I stick with automatics. Besides, the Aveo is primarily my wife's commuting car, and that's what she's used to.
