I go with manual always. Less stress on the transmission because of the way I drive. Also easier to
maintain. AND!, I say: AND the reason I bought it is because of it's manual transmission and no AC. It's a car pure and simple! I love it.

Voted. Have an auto but prefer a manual. Driven manuals most of my life.
Manual transmision in my Aveo.
I have a 2007 Aveo5 with a manual transmission. Never drove a manual before I got this car, but wouldn't change that. I love this little car. Mine is a hatchback.
I have owned plenty of manual but my 2009 Aveo has automatic I'm enjoying it throughly.
My 2007 Aveo Hatchback (bought in 2009) has an automatic transmission and I've been very happy with it. It was the car I wanted and the auto trans was just part of the package.
Years ago I had a truck with a manual transmission and I was very happy with that, too. I chose it because at that time the manual was $1,000 less, so I learned fast and enjoyed that truck for years.
Out of my 6 Aveos only one was a manual.
Just bought an 09 and it's a manual!😁
I will drive manual as long as I can buy a car that has manual.
