Oh, hey! Rabbit! Taking out power steering... that's something else I've thought about doing! Those are some decent gains! Um... Just wanted to say that. I intend to figure out whether my car has it or not, first.

I would believe that our cars do have power steering. But then again, I never really paid attention.
Anyway, is there that much to be gained in removing the power steering? If your addiction to power is this bad, work towards turbo.

i always feel like i am saying this, why not do both? :P
less power loss from not have power steering, and a turbo for more power

i have been thinking about if i take the pulley off, and cant run the ac because of that, i could use the power steering pulley on a Mini cooper supercharger, and mount it in the power steering position. I would still need all the other stuff, but the belts would be figured out. and i think the pulley might be an acceptable size for the speed. (or too big, so mount it higher with stock pulley)
