well, I know with an 88 Civic we had, the adjustable timing pulley was helpful. In the motorcycle world, the ability to advance the timing a degree or two can make a difference. What about a throttle body spacer? On my V6 engines, they made a difference in economy and torque. Another thought, is what about different cams?

i'd like to see intake manifold, cam pulleys, camshafts, and ITBS as well haha.
perhaps harness bar or even roll cage?
honestly though anything sounds great compared to the next to nothing aftermarket we have for the aveo.

A lot of work needs to be check with adjustable pulleys on the aveo.. i'm not sure as i havent come to it and have the ecotec, but there have been posts of people being off a tooth on on pulley, or both, and the car wont run.. some needed to replace valves (which might have occurred before hand) but i think the range of adjustment would only be beneficial with tuning and/or cams on these engines.. someone just throwing on the pulleys, and advancing the timing might destroy their engine.

the throttle body spacer is something i was looking to down the road. but i was going to make an actual adapter to a larger throttle body.

Does anyone know if a cavalier/cobalt throttle body would bolt up? Ideally we could find one with the same bolt pattern and just have to deal with coolant and vacuum lines, possibly TPS and for the newer etecs the throttle actuator.

i "have" a rear sway, as does ultra racing..

i was going to use a vw 1.8t/2.0 dbw throttle body.. just need to pin it out, and check the values.. then make the adapter plate..

you earlier guys could still use the adapter plate with an earlier non dbw throttle plate... cavalier i am 90% sure has cable drive only, and no work for most of us.. at least using the vw would allow all parties to use the adapter.
