my 04 came with kumho's and they are possibly the worst tires I have ever ridden on, they only lasted about 5-7k miles, and I didn't even treat them bad, we all know this car is hard to get to burnout...

For any tire to last only 5-7k miles, you have to treat them pretty bad in my opinion. I've got about 15k miles on mine and they still look almost new. And I'm not afraid to use the handbrake on any surface (in fact I needed a wheel bearing replaced because of that).

They really weren't treated bad at all, obeyed speed limit 95% of the time, took turns at reasonable speeds, and never burnt out in them, either dry or wet. I kept taking them back to the dealer and my alignment was off by quite a lot everytime. Its not like I drive on roads covered in potholes or anything, I eventually gave up and now have 17's...the tires are about shot and have around 15k on them...but they are low profile so I guess thats decent. I still don't understand how my car looses alignment so easily, or just eats tires.
