Removing the taillights on the 06 sedan

Those clip caps are a pain in the ****ing ass.
The driver side one's were broken in half, and the passenger side ones were hot-glued together?
      WHO THE **** DOES THAT?
I had to break it off, and now I'm going to have to replace 4 clip caps. (Two of them are broken in half completely, other ones were just glued to the clip cap cover.

(Took them off for tinting/smoking whatever you want to call it)
