what combo of rims and tires will fit 07 aveo?
4x100mm, 14"-18" with 35-40ish mm offset.
yes but will bigger tires rub against the wheelwell at all
you have to plus size your tires, less tire with more rim..
a 185/60r14 - 195/50r15 - 205/45r16 - 205/40r17 - 215/35r18 are all very close in size on the outside dimensions..
you can also run other sizes like i have a 195/45r15 on my car now. its smaller than a 195/50r15 but still close to stock, just the other side of close.. you can do the same concept in a 16" and go with a 205/40r16. you can even hunt down a european size of 195/40r17 but these sizes are for people lower than just the standard sport springs.
awesome. answeres alot of my questions too. you should visit your nearest discount tire they are real good at getting you whats made for your car and let you kno what can or cannot put on it....depends on which discount tire.
i would never rely on a salesman to tell you what works.
Discount tires/american tires stores run a program that gives them a very moderate range if what you can put on your car while keeping the outside dimensions the same. Only a few speak from their experience vs what the program gives them IMO.Originally Posted by petrified.rabbit

i know that, discount tire sell my wheels, they do not fit according to them. sop if a was asking one of their "experts" i would not have my wheels on my car..
in fact going to a more popular 4x100 car, like a vw, yields dozens more choices of wheels, the only issue you might run into is the need of a spacer to clear the caliper.
True that... plus most of the "experts" don't take into the account whether you're dropping your car or not, or how much you're dropping it...
