Hey everyone! I was lucky enough to check out SEMA yesterday, and let me tell you, as a car enthusiast, I loved every minute!
I was disappointed to not see any Aveos on display this year, but I did see some awesome Camaros, Volts, and the new Spark.
I didn't take too many pics of my experience but I did take a few to share for my chevy heads on here :) I hope to maybe see some of you there next year!

I like that Spark. And really like the classic pickup. (More pics of it in the Autoblog gallery that's linked further up this thread.)
Wonder why they showed the Volt though - was it modified in some way?
The volt did not seemed to be modded out in any way besides the graphic decals and the wheels. I believe they were trying to get the name out on the new hybrid vehicle as its supposed to be avail. to buy sometime next week. I'll be honest, it was probably a good idea on their part, because I honestly never heard of the volt until I saw it. There hasn't been much publicity, none that I've seen anyway.
thats odd, the volt is supposed to be the most anticipated hybrid to come.. even the president sat in one (he doesnt drive).
they had a lot of publicity, but maybe that was bad timing with the bail out, since people dont remember?

I guess that is what GM is going to call thier new line of custom parts, Z-Spec....intead of RS
That could be it! It will be interesting to see if there is more publicity once the car is officially out.

I stand corrected! Hahahaa so true, with a price tag like that, gm will def. Need all the luck they can get.
i call it hybrid because even though it is fully electric drivetrain, there is still a gas engine on board, even though it is used as a generator.Quote:
