      stage 2

      is it possible and if so does any one know where i can find a stage 2 or higher clutch for an 05 LS 1.6 cause i cant find one any where...not even an ebay clutch.

      You could just get a short shifter from xiaogary. What else have you done performance wise to your car?

      i dont think he asked for a short shifter.. but i have one sitting here i made,,

      xiaogary does have a performance clutch not sure how.


      starting in 09 the factory offered a performance clutch as a $400 option. i didnt get it, but it was "recommended" by the factory if you lived somewhere with mountainous landscape..

      have you tried looking on ebay for lanos performance clutches? or i forget the other car..

      a "Cheap" option would be to take the clutch to a shop, and have the organic material taken off and a more aggressive material put on. they can also typically change the spring loads. not sure what this would cost it would be based on where you take it.

      And contact Garrett his username is gse_turbo (this guy right here http://www.daewootech.com/forum/memberl ... ile&u=1961) he can offer a wide variety of clutches for your D16.

      3, 4, 6 puck ceramic or carbon-kevlar disks with a 1500 lbs pressure plate.

      Let him know what your looking for, he will build a kit for your specific needs.

      because i am going to do a complete rebuild and drop a turbo in and the factory one will not keep up with what i am planning on doing.... at least i dont think that it will... i have a friend that has a talon and when he got a bigger turbo he had to replace his pressure plate and upgrade to a stage two cause it put out so much more hp that it burnt up the stock one in his car.

      cool thanks cause i have tried every place i could think of plus some to find one and i was beginning to think it was impossible. do you know if he can get the top mount trubo manifolds or any where i might be able to find one of those that isnt in a full kit??

      a top mount turbo manifold for an engine that has the exhaust header in the front? would it fit? i think you would hit the hood.

      If you want a turbo manifold, you will have to basically get one made from scratch im pretty sure.

      Ive heard some honda manifolds can work with a bit of modification to the flange, ive never looked into it tho.

      yeah there is enough room to put a top mount intercooler too if you do it all right... its all in where you place them at
