Line the insides of the doors with phones books, that'll stop small arms... will definately need to redo the panels due to lack of room lol. Not like I'm doing it anyway.

Ahh not like I live in an area that I'll get shot at anyway, besides it would add so much extra weight to the little aveo.

a lot of bullet stopping "proof" glass is just triple laminate, i forget the order, but its like windshild type, laminated to tempered laminated to lexan.. but this isn't the stuff that reflects bullets like in movies... it just stops the bullet in the glass..
      it is expensive.

a big part would be tripling the weight of every window on the car. plus having to open up the window channel for glass 3 times as thick...

Yeah I checked into it and it is pretty expensive, the run flats still will be a go for me, bullet proofing is a bit overkill for what I need lol.

Oh yeah, thought it would be halarious to watch anyone try to break into the car by breaking a window, would take them hours.
