Well finally purchased the new leftover '09 yesterday. The msrp was 15345. Out the door with all taxes, lic., and fees for 5900.18 no trade involved (obviously took advantage of all the incentives and a boatload of GM Card points) And actually sold my '06 Kia for more than I paid for a new leftover '09 - new car and money left in my pockets. Feels like hitting the lotto! =D>

3315.19 in gm card earnings. I have the old card, so I can apply all the earning I have on a purchase. The newer cards have redemption limits. I had 2315.19 in earnings and they had sent a mailer with a code to rec. an additional 1000 on top of what I already had (1500 extra on cadillac purchase). Over the years I have probably cashed in gm card earnings of about 12,000.
everything helps, i use the card all the time so might as well let the earnings be my reward.
