      Take a look at the Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner AT. Nice on/off road tire with a decently chunky off-road pattern but still really does well and rides quiet on the highway. But not insanely expensive.
      I agree with the suggestion for off-road+highway use. On the Jimny Forum this is a very hot topic; All Terrain Tyre Comparisons - BigJimny Forum feel free to read and reply.

      I am reasonably happy with my stock Bridgestone Dueler 195/80R/15 for now, but for my seniors driving style a softer, more "car-like", tyre would suit me better.
