Toe setting adjustment questions... Alignment expert needed
Any alignment specialists in the house?
I have a few toe-setting questions.
1) After removing the jamb nuts. I noticed that the inner tie rod seems to be frozen inside the outer tie rod. Wrenching on it, seemed to put alot of stress on the outer joint.
Is this the correct way? is there a way to hold the outer tire rod steady? Or will the ball end be just fine?
Also , 1 full turn of the inner tie rod equals how many degree's? Is there a ball park amount?
or every Aveo different.

i can only speak from other experience, as i haven't looked at my aveo yet... (i dont need to)
but a lot of tie rod ends have flats on the for a wrench to try to hold it steady, not all do, but quite, if it doesnt try a pipe wrench. but be careful. typically you should not be fitting it that much unless it is completely seized. in which you will need to replace it anyhow. but most of the time if the ball joint is in good condition the threads should break loose before damaging the joint. do aveos allow you to replace the inner arm? i thought read not on here?
a full turn tends to be about 1/4 a degee.. but i cant say i have ever measured, i just turn it and watch the change on these screen, and then remeasure toe. being the aveo has small wheels and therefore smaller spindle arms to the balljoint, i would assume your going to get more out of a full turn.
