Question Two Pipes Under Each Front Seat...?

      Hello Everyone,

Anyone have any idea what these tubes are for? I checked the HVAC positions and the don't blow or suck air on any of them. I'm utterly puzzled, I searched and I haven't found an old thread here either. :/

I apologize if this thread is in the wrong place...

      Thanks,
      -Andrew

I apologize for the sideways image, for some reason it wasn't uploading correctly. It's right-side up on my desktop. lol

I also cleaned under there after taking this pic, the dust and gunk is gone now.

those are the Rear Heater Vents; they keep your Back Seat passenger's feet warm.

That's what I initially thought, but they don't appear to blow anything. That is what led me to ask. I'll check again tomorrow and see if they blow anything, if not they may need cleaned out. I'll have to figure out the best way to accomplish that.

      Thanks,
      -Andrew

they only work when the Mode switch is in the 'FLOOR' Position (also when its in the 'BI-LEVEL' Mode as well as the 'DEFOG', (NOT 'DEFROST') mode, because air is also directed to the floor in those modes.)
