Beretta is a completely different chassis, but shared SOME of the same running gear. only the V6 models had anything in common with the W-body besides the bolt pattern of the wheels. The Beretta and the Corsica are on their own chassis, designated the L-body.

i have never been a fan of those "10 sec" cars, all it is is a ton of boost, not as fun to watch as cars that do wheelies off the line
that wasnt a vtec issue, i think that turbo exploded.... way to much boost, prob didnt build or reinforce the engine either
p.s. it doesnt matter what type of car, you add to much boost and not enough engine work/reenforcement/cooling this can happen
